Nestle into the arms of the Earth. Lean back into space, time and guidance to nourish your roots. Connect with kin and tend to the landscape of your wild mind and body
"I go to a lot of retreats and circles, but this was another level of amazing. Best womens event Ive ever been to. Inspired. Thankyou" EM
We can learn a lot from The Mother Tree.
In her book, Finding The Mother Tree, Suzanne Simard shares how trees, living side by side for hundreds of years, have evolved, how they perceive one another, learn and adapt their behaviors, recognize neighbours, and remember the past; how they have agency about the future; elicit warnings and mount defenses, compete and cooperate with one another with sophistication, characteristics ascribed to human intelligence, traits that are the essence of civil societies.
At the center of it all, the Mother Trees: the mysterious, powerful forces that connect and sustain the others that surround them.
How can one tree sustain a whole forest if she is not able to thrive herself?
Just as The Mother Tree connects and sustains the forest, it is women who connect and sustain humanity.
How can we restore humanity if we are exhausted, undernourished, dysregulated and bound to our inner critic?
Together, women perceive, connect and relate to each other. It is our natural way to learn and grow and create and tend in community. When we do, our wisdom and creativity flourishes and we begin to understand the power we have to heal ourselves, the earth and all beings who dwell here.
We shift from the tense, rigid and critical energy that has been our shield and our survival and open into the soft strength of our femininity.
Drawing on the wisdom of the mother trees and the rhythms of the season you'll rekindle a connection to the land, return home to your body and remember yourself in community of women.
These seasonal gatherings are an invitation to slow down, to tend, to move and to rest so you may listen to the whispers of wisdom that emerge from the wellspring of your wild inner landscape.
Held by the cosy yurt, we'll explore somatic embodiment, wandering, nature connection, self directed touch, sound and guided meditation, with plenty of tea, cake and conversation.

In this 60 minute workshop you'll learn how and why the inner critic comes to life, how its doing its best to protect you (although it certainly doesn't seem like it), why we often resist self compassion and how to work with your body and the outer landscape to heal the hurt of shame and self judgement.
