Turkish Proverb
You feel an ache, a longing, a yearning for something you cant quite put your finger on. Sometimes you brush it under the carpet, sometimes it feels so big you want to tear down the walls of your life and disappear into the sunset
You are stuck in habits, relationships and situations that feel unhealthy and exhausting
You spend a lot of time worrying what other people think about you, from how you look to how you live your life
You find it hard to know your boundaries, let alone hold them. Maybe you are a people pleaser and find yourself apologising all the time. Maybe you've fallen into a role weighed with expectation and you cant see yourself anymore.
You are tired. And bored. And resentful (quite possibly because of the above)
Your inner critic is loud (towards you, and others)
You feel disconnected from or at war with your body
You feel cut off from feeling and want to build your capacity to embody and express your emotions
You are in the busy and don't seem to be able to come off auto pilot. Sometimes you wear your to do list like a badge of honour, because an exhausted woman is a validated one, right?
You enjoy being in nature and feel a desire to be in a deeper communion with the land
You have heard the whispers of your soul and seek guidance to live from that place
You are ready to remember the wild wonder that you are and your place in the great family of things
You have a sense that the current systems that govern our societies are broken and destructive.
You are concerned about the way things are going.
You want to be part of a more cohesive, compassionate society that prioritises the health of the earth and all who dwell here, over profit.
You feel the loss of indigenous ways of being in relation to self, each other and the more than human and want to rekindle those relationships from a conscious place. Maybe you experience this loss as a longing for something you can quite put your finger on.
You are prepared to come into a reciprocal relationship with the rest of nature, rather than use the land as a backdrop or resource for personal gain
