Join us around the fire for an enchanting afternoon of traditional Celtic tales brought to life through our festive, immersive experience. On the land and in our cosy yurt we weave storytelling, nature connection and natural crafts to whisk you away on a magical yuletide adventure
After a break for 2023, and back by popular demand, we are bringing a new story to life for our Winter Solstice Storytelling and S'mores family fireside gathering.
Join Ben and Beth for a festive foray into a traditional Celtic folk tale, told around the fire and through an immersive adventure across the land.
Children (and their grown ups) will be invited into the magical world of story, learning the true origins of Yule and celebrating the returning of the light at Winter Solstice.
By the warmth of the campfire, under the stars and cosied up in the yurt you'll be transported into imaginal realms, make props for our story, and craft offerings for the land out of natural materials. Our time together will end with delicious hot chocolate and s'mores and each child will receive a handmade gift to take home.
Join us this December for our festive family adventure, welcoming the magic and wonder of the yuletide season.
"Every time we have been to one of your storytelling events my children (and me!) have absolutely loved it. You have such a way of tapping into their imaginations and bringing the magic alive. Its always so creative how you get them engaged in activities that help the story along too...very cleverly done!" - EH

The Mill House is a home, not a commercial venue and therefore access is limited. The event will take place outside, in limited light and on muddy and uneven terrain. There is unfortunately no disabled access into the yurt.
In the event of very wet weather the gathering will still go ahead ~ we will be in the Yurt and around the fire in the teepee.
To book multiple spaces, add your details on the booking page, then click 'book more services' and repeat. Tickets will be added to your cart and you can purchase in one payment when all tickets have been added.
